Types of Modern Cloth Diapers

Kepada yg baru saja mula nk berjinak-jinak dlm dunia lampin kain moden ni, pasti tertanya-tanya apa lg jenis-jenis CD yg ader?...Jadik di sini saya ingin kongsikan bersama tentang jenis-jenis CD agar ibu bapa diluar sana punyai bnyk pilihan untuk anak mereka.

1. Diaper Covers

Diaper covers are used over flat diapers/lampin, prefolds, and fitted cloth diapers to provide a waterproof outer layer.

2. Prefolds
Prefolds are one of the cheapest and simplest options of all modern cloth diapers. They are rectangles of absorbent fabric, with extra layers of material in the middle section. They need to be fastened with diaper pins or a snappi, and then covered with a diaper cover to make it waterproof.

3. Fitted diapers

Fitted diapers are very similar to a disposable diaper. A fitted diaper has an hourglass shape with elastics in the legs and waist. Fitted diapers are not waterproof and usually require a separate diaper cover.

4. Pocket diapers
Pocket Diapers are a two-layer diapering system consisting of a waterproof outer layer and a stay-dry inner layer (usually microfleece/ suedecloth) Pocket diapers are unique because the front or back edge is left open for stuffing with an absorbent insert.

5. All-in-Ones (AIOs)

AIO diapers are the closest thing to disposable diapers. They are a complete diaper solution on their own. An AIO has an hourglass shape diaper body with a waterproof outer and a sewn-in absorbent soaker.

CLOTH DIAPERING ACCESSORIES

1. Snappis
Dread using the good old diaper pins to fasten flats/prefolds? dread no more because Snappis are here coming to your rescue! They are a lot easier and safer too.

2. Cloth Wipes
Like cloth diapers, cloth wipes are not only safe and soft, they are also fun, cute and easy to use.

3. Flushable Liners
Flushbale liners are not a must-have but to some parents liners make cleaning up mess a lot easier. Simply flush the liner in the toilet. Flushable liners are biodegradable than normal liners which makes them more environment-friendly.

4. Wet Bag
Wet bag make cloth diapering on-the-go a breeze! Just put the wet/soiled diapers in the bag, close it up and you're good to go! Say goodbye to stinky diaper smells!
